Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is an 8-week program designed for people who experience repeated episodes of depression. MBCT combines the practice and clinical application of mindfulness meditation with the tools of cognitive therapy to help one become acquainted with the modes of the mind that often characterize mood disorders while at the at the same time learning to have a new relationship with them.
