Workshops and Retreats

At equilibrium we are committed to helping support the development of mindfulness both for beginners and for people at all stages of their practice journey.  

The three jewels of mindfulness practice are often centered around your own awareness, the teachings, and the community.  For this reason, we have created different types of programs both short and long where you can deepen your practice and connect to a community of other practitioners. These programs create great opportunities for learning, friendship and long-term dharma friends and to deepen your personal practice and understanding of the underpinnings.

Equilibrium Alumni Programs

Our alumni programs are designed to support students who have completed the MBSR or MSC programs and have moved beyond beginning practice in mindfulness. We offer a variety of alumni programming formats, and the teachings are designed to enhance and support your ability to cultivate mindfulness practices in your daily life.

These practices are just as important as cultivating awareness and can be viewed as balancing factors for practice.

Multi-Day Retreats

These small, intimate retreats are designed to allow participants to pause and step away from the demands of their busy, daily lives by re-connecting with themselves and with nature. These retreats are typically 2 to 3 day in-person programs for a maximum of 10 participants, held at varying locations.

Free Introductory Programs

Both of our multi-week mindfulness based programs, The Stress Reduction Program and the Self Compassion Program offer free orientation sessions. These free introductory sessions are geared towards those who have an interest in taking the full length programs, but are open to all. Depending on the program, these free sessions are offered in-person or online. Explore our program listings to see when the next free introductory class is offered.
